Football Game Preview: McDonough Warhawks vs. Ola Mustangs + How To Watch

The McDonough Warhawks will square off against the Ola Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, McDonough didn't have too much trouble with Woodland as they won 24-7.

McDonough found their leader in sophomore Talin Manior, who rushed for 47 yards and one TD.

McDonough didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Woodland to a completion percentage of just 29.4%. The Warhawks weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 37.5%.

Meanwhile, Ola earned a 24-13 win over Hampton on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won four in a row.

Ola's win came from a few key players McDonough will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cayden Hutson, who rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Caden Worley was another key player, throwing for 152 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes.

McDonough's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Ola, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

McDonough was dealt a bruising 42-10 defeat at the hands of Ola when the teams last played back in November of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warhawks were down 35-10.
