Basketball Game Preview: Orange Lutheran Lancers vs. Brea Olinda Wildcats

The Orange Lutheran Lancers will challenge the Brea Olinda Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Tuesday, Orange Lutheran came up short against San Clemente and fell 55-43.

Meanwhile, Brea Olinda entered their tilt with El Modena on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Vanguards 64-40. Brea Olinda's win was all the more impressive since the Vanguards were averaging only 25.53 points allowed on the season.

Orange Lutheran better keep an eye on Liz Han. She was instrumental in Brea Olinda's win, putting up 19 points. Han's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Sarah Wang was another key player, posting 13 points.

Orange Lutheran's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-6. As for Brea Olinda, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Orange Lutheran strolled past Brea Olinda when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 49-30. Will Orange Lutheran repeat their success, or does Brea Olinda have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
