Basketball Recap: Esperanza Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Esperanza had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over the King Wolves. The win was nothing new for the Aztecs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Esperanza's victory bumped their record up to 20-10. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-7.

Coming up, Esperanza will take on Brentwood School at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brentwood School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Esperanza likes a good challenge. King does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
