Soccer Game Preview: Tri-Cities vs. Drew Charter

The Tri-Cities Bulldogs will square off against Drew Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Tri-Cities didn't have quite enough to beat Morrow and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Drew Charter came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for Drew Charter, who have now won four matches by five goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Redan from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. DeWon Davenport led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Drew Charter pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Tri-Cities, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
