Basketball Recap: Freedom Falcons vs. Deer Valley Wolverines
Freedom was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Deer Valley on Tuesday. The Freedom Falcons breezed by the Deer Valley Wolverines to the tune of 62-18. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.
Eve Monzon was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ariel De La O, who went 6 of 8 en route to 12 points in addition to six steals and four blocks.
