Byne Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Crisp Academy Wildcats on Thursday, falling 22-2. The Saints' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak dating back to last season.

Crisp Academy's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Byne Christian will face off against Pataula Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Crisp Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Georgia Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
