South has gone a perfect 10-0 against North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will face off against the Saxons at 3:30 p.m.

South is headed into Friday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since December 8. They and Wiseburn- Da Vinci finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, North kept a clean sheet against Peninsula on Tuesday. They rang in the new year with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North.

With that draw, South's record moves to 5-3-3. As for North, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1.

Everything went South's way against North when the teams last played back in January of 2025, as South made off with a 4-1 win. In that match, the Spartans amassed a halftime lead of 4-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
