Basketball Recap: Methacton Warriors vs. Bayard Rustin Golden Knights
Methacton took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). Everything went their way against the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights as the Methacton Warriors made off with a 58-35 victory. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 59-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Methacton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Arnold out in front who earned 14 points plus eight rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Ava Wolf, who scored eight points in addition to ten rebounds and two blocks.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Methacton and Ridley are set to duel on Friday. As for Bayard Rustin, they will be defending their home-court for the first time this season they go up against Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
