Soccer Game Preview: Delhi vs. Mariposa County

The Delhi Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Mariposa County Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Delhi is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Gustine on Thursday. Neither Delhi nor Gustine could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Delhi's goal came courtesy of Marla Segovia, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Mariposa County came up short against Le Grand on Friday, falling 6-1. That's two games in a row now that the Grizzlies have lost by exactly five goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Mariposa County and nudges their season record down to 1-4. With that draw, Delhi's record moves to 6-5-1.

Everything went Delhi's way against Mariposa County in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Delhi made off with a 5-2 win. Will Delhi repeat their success, or does Mariposa County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
