Basketball Recap: Ellendale Comes Up Short

Ellendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes on the road by a 46-32 margin. The Cardinals were probably out for revenge after losing 44-42 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ellendale's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Ellendale will head out on the road to take on Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
