Baseball Game Preview: Mundy's Mill Tigers vs. Griffin Bears

The Mundy's Mill Tigers will take on the Griffin Bears at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. Mundy's Mill has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Mundy's Mill and Jonesboro, and Jonesboro kept the tradition alive. The Tigers fell 11-7 to the Cardinals last Friday.

Meanwhile, Griffin had to endure a 16-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a run and slipped past Cristo Rey Atlanta 4-3.

Mundy's Mill's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Griffin, their win bumped their record up to 2-16.

Mundy's Mill couldn't quite finish off Griffin in their previous matchup back in April of 2018 and fell 5-3. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
