Softball Recap: Centennial Has No Trouble Against Central Gwinnett

Centennial never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Central Gwinnett Black Knights 15-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Maria Mrus, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Ella Jacobs was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The win got Centennial back to even at 1-1.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Central Gwinnett: the pair will be back at it again later today.
