Soccer Game Preview: Paulding County vs. Mt. Zion

The Paulding County Patriots will challenge the Mt. Zion Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Paulding County will be strutting in after a win while Mt. Zion will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Paulding County turned things around against Rockmart on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Yellowjackets 5-4. Considering the Patriots' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Mt. Zion fell victim to Villa Rica and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Paulding County, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
