Softball Recap: Palmyra Comes Up Short

Palmyra's last matchup with La Plata could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 13-4 to the Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Palmyra now has a losing record of 1-2. As for La Plata, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Palmyra will square off against Monroe City at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Plata, they are taking a road trip to square off against New Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
