Baseball Game Preview: Campbell vs. Monadnock Huskies

Campbell has won five straight games at home, while Monadnock has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. Campbell will welcome Monadnock at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Campbell has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Campbell needed a bit of extra time to put away Prospect Mountain. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Apaches.

The team relied heavily on Brody Pinciaro, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monadnock). Everything went their way against Newport on Tuesday as they made off with a 24-1 win. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by ten runs or more this season.

Monadnock's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Campbell, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
