Volleyball Game Preview: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Currituck County Knights + How To Watch

The First Flight Nighthawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Currituck County Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

First Flight had won two straight games and Ella Morris did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Nighthawks blew past Hertford County 3-0 with plenty of help from Morris, who had 13 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

Currituck County not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pasquotank County.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-16.

Currituck County's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for First Flight, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

First Flight came out on top in a nail-biter against Currituck County in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
