Cambridge never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Westminster Wildcats as they made off with a 6-0 win. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Cambridge, bringing their record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Westminster, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge will face off against North Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster, they will take on Mount Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
