Soccer Game Preview: Rosemont vs. Galt

Rosemont and Galt are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2020, but likely not for long. The Rosemont Wolverines will square off against the Galt Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rosemont's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Bradshaw Christian. That's two games straight that the Wolverines have won by exactly two goals.

Ellona Ivanina and Taaliyah Brown scored both of Rosemont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, Galt had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Diamondbacks with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering the Warriors have won three games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rosemont pushed their record up to 9-6-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matches. As for Galt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.
