Moore faced Choctaw in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lions took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Moore's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Choctaw, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coincidentally, Moore and Choctaw will both be playing Chandler the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Lions at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
