Basketball Recap: Meyersdale Comes Up Short

Meyersdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Northern Garrett Huskies an easy 58-33 win. The match was a 18-18 toss-up at halftime, but the Red Raiders couldn't quite close it out.

Meyersdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northern Garrett, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Meyersdale won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rockwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meyersdale is facing Rockwood at the right time seeing as Rockwood is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Northern Garrett, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Allegany on January 2, 2025.
