Softball Recap: Wapello Drops Highest Score of Season Against WACO

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wapello). They never let the WACO Warriors get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Monday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Wapello has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for WACO, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Wapello didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Highland on the 1st. WACO has also already played their next contest (against Holy Trinity Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
