Basketball Recap: Fowler's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Fowler came into Friday's game having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 34-30 W over the Riverdale Cowboys on Friday. The Redcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

Fowler's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-18. As for Riverdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Fowler has already played their next contest (against Kingsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverdale will square off against Strathmore at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Strathmore will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Riverdale surely won't give up without a fight.
