Briarwood Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Gatewood Gators by a score of 6-1. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Briarwood Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Gatewood, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
