Three Rivers waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Mendon Hornets 17-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-7 two weeks ago.

Gabe Young made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Three Rivers let Aidan Williams and Drake Dibble run wild. Williams went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Dibble went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Williams has posted over his last nine matchups. Another player making a difference was Tyson Rohrer, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Three Rivers kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.4.
