Soccer Game Preview: Vacaville vs. Antelope

The Vacaville Bulldogs will square off against the Antelope Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Antelope will be up against a hot Vacaville squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 13. Vacaville never let Wood onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Their offense was hitting Wood from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sophia Franzoni led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Antelope rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Cougars. The high-scoring effort was just what the Titans needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Vacaville's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those eight matches. As for Antelope, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Vacaville took their win against Antelope in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Will Vacaville repeat their success, or does Antelope have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
