Ponderosa won the last time they faced Regis Jesuit and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Raiders.

Joey Qualteri spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Skylar Frassetto, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Campbell Trombley, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Ponderosa's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Regis Jesuit, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
