Basketball Recap: Clarion Area Takes a Loss

Clarion Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-17 loss at the hands of the Grove City Eagles. The Bobcats lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-26 score last time.

Clarion Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grove City, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarion Area will welcome Cranberry Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grove City, they will take on Moniteau at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
