Softball Recap: Norfolk Takes a Loss

Norfolk lost against Lincoln Southwest last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers fell 5-2 to the Silver Hawks.

Liberty Nohr made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Norfolk now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lincoln Southwest, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Norfolk will head out on the road to face off against Elkhorn South at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Storm have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. Lincoln Southwest has already played their next contest (against Columbus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
