Soccer Game Preview: Cass vs. Allatoona

The Cass Colonels will venture away from home to take on the Allatoona Buccaneers at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Cass' last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Cass is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Cedartown just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Colonels couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Allatoona was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Dalton, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Catamounts: they've now lost six in a row.
