Riverdale Ridge put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Rocky Mountain Lobos with a sharp 10-0 victory.

The team relied heavily on Sammie Simmons, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeanna Sandoval, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Riverdale Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rocky Mountain only posted an OBP of .273.

Riverdale Ridge's record now sits at 3-0. As for Rocky Mountain, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Riverdale Ridge will head out on the road to face off against Columbine at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocky Mountain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Collins at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lobos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lambkins have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
