Football Game Preview: Creighton Prep Junior Jays vs. Fremont Tigers

The Creighton Prep Junior Jays will face off against the Fremont Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Creighton Prep is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Creighton Prep strolled past Omaha Central with points to spare, taking the game 31-16. The Junior Jays pushed the score to 31-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Angelo Wallker had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 93 yards and three TDs. Wallker is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Another big playmaker for Creighton Prep was Nico Kocmich, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Fremont entered their contest against Omaha Westside on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers had to suffer through a 63-7 loss at the hands of the Warriors. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Creighton Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Creighton Prep ended up a good deal behind Fremont in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, losing 28-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Tigers' Ayden Bohaboj, who rushed for 156 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 30 yards and one touchdown. Now that the Junior Jays know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
