Basketball Game Preview: Canyon Comanches vs. Norco Cougars

The Canyon Comanches just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Norco Cougars at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Canyon and four for Norco.

On Friday, Canyon lost to Crean Lutheran on the road by a 53-36 margin. While losing is never fun, the Comanches can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Saints are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-17, which was the final score in Norco's tilt against King on Thursday.

Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Norco, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Canyon came up short against Norco in their previous meeting back in February of 2016, falling 54-43. Can Canyon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
