Soccer Recap: Sandy Creek Comes Up Short

Sandy Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the LaGrange Grangers, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Patriots were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Donovan Lipson, who's now up to three this season.

Sandy Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for LaGrange, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Sandy Creek wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Fayette County on the 18th. As for LaGrange, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lowndes on the 14th.
