Recap: Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers vs. Carmichaels Mighty Mikes
In what's become a running theme this season, the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They claimed a resounding 50-16 victory over Carmichaels at home. Winning may never get old, but Chartiers-Houston sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Ella Richey was the offensive standout of the contest as she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Amelia Brose was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Chartiers-Houston is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Carmichaels, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chartiers-Houston will take on California at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carmichaels, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Greene at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
