Brookstone extended their postseason success on Friday against Tattnall Square Academy. They blew past the Trojans 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 14 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Brookstone got a big performance out of Brennan Neal, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most doubles Neal has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Lowery, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Brookstone always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive games.

Brookstone is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 24-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Brookstone beat the Trojans by a score of 2-1 later that day.
