Basketball Game Preview: Dos Palos Broncos vs. Le Grand Bulldogs

The Dos Palos Broncos will head out to take on the Le Grand Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Le Grand took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dos Palos, who comes in off a win.

Dos Palos is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Minarets, posting a 56-25 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Broncos considering their 17-point performance the match before.

Dos Palos' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brionte Neal, who posted 21 points, and Jayla Bland, who earned 13 points. The dominant performance gave Bland a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Karina Tapia, who had six points.

Meanwhile, Le Grand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Liberty an easy 43-19 win. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dos Palos' victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Le Grand, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Dos Palos ended up a good deal behind Le Grand when the teams last played back in December of 2023, losing 42-25. Can Dos Palos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
