Frederick hasn't had much luck against Erie recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Frederick will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Frederick's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Legacy as they made off with a 12-0 win. Considering the Golden Eagles have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Elayna Fisher's shutout, as she gave up just six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Izzy Horne, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Ella Stromberg, who went 2-for-4 with two triples and two runs.
Frederick was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are a perfect 14-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Erie faced Lutheran in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Lions, falling 9-1. The Tigers were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matchups prior), but the Lions' pitchers proved too tough.
Erie saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Fetters, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Frederick's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Erie, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Frederick has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .458. However, it's not like Erie struggles in that department as they've averaged .492. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
