Soccer Recap: Coffee Takes a Loss

Coffee and Pierce County pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played Pierce County, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Trojans fell just short of the Bears by a score of 1-0. Coffee were not able to make up for their defeat to Pierce County from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

Coffee dropped their record down to 6-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Pierce County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Coffee will challenge Habersham Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Habersham Central will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Coffee surely won't give up without a fight. Pierce County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
