Basketball Recap: Governor Mifflin Takes a Loss

Governor Mifflin was the 57-24 winner over Muhlenberg when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Governor Mifflin Mustangs took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Muhlenberg Muhls. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Muhls are ranked 473rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Governor Mifflin and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for Muhlenberg, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.

Governor Mifflin has already played their next matchup (against Lebanon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Muhlenberg has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Reading.
