Softball Recap: West Fork Extends Winning Streak to Four

West Fork had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Durant Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Warhawks have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was West Fork's fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Durant, they moved to 21-13 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, West Fork is taking a road trip to challenge Riceville at 6:30 p.m. on the 31st. Durant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
