The Lyndon Tigers will head out to take on the Flinthills Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Lyndon is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Chase County: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 68-18 final score. The Tigers' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Flinthills on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Northern Heights out of the water with a 58-14 final score. The matchup marked the Mustangs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Lyndon better keep an eye on Beau Hall. He was instrumental in Flinthills' win, rushing for 241 yards and five TDs while picking up 13.4 yards per carry. Hall is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 142 every time he's taken the field this season. Tripp Carney was another key player, rushing for 43 yards and one touchdown.

Flinthills' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lyndon, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for Lyndon against Flinthills in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
