River Valley had won 12 straight games and Ava Persichetti did her part to make it 13 on Thursday. The River Valley Panthers took their match with ease, bagging a 62-29 win over the United Lions thanks in part to Persichetti, who posted 23 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Kenady Kitner was another key player, going 5 for 10 on her way to 13 points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

United's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooke Esposito, who earned five points and nine boards, and Lilly McGinnis, who scored nine points and three steals.

River Valley pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.5 points. As for United, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

River Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-44 win against Mifflin County on the 11th. United has also already played their next contest, a 42-36 defeat against Purchase Line on the 13th.
