After losing to Monticello the last time they met, Tri-Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings came out on top against the Sages by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Kinley Morris paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Morris got some help from Blythe Burk and her ten assists. Lauren Louck controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Monticello still got an impressive performance from Mady Melton, who had 13 digs and two assists. Melton has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Tri-Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season. As for Monticello, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-15.

Tri-Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Bloomington Central Catholic on the 30th. Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
