Sunnyslope took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Boulder Creek, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Jaguars 3-2 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won six matches in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sunnyslope got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-6, 19-25, 25-19, 21-25, 15-13.

Tyler Stock paced Sunnyslope's offense, picking up 16 kills. Stock got some help from Mason Cooley and his 39 assists. Stock was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Sunnyslope's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. As for Boulder Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-11.

Sunnyslope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Desert Vista on the 1st. As for Boulder Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against O'Connor on the 1st.
