Fort Gibson had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eufaula Ironheads, sneaking past 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since September 11th.

Fort Gibson's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Eufaula, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Fort Gibson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eufaula, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Grove on the 2nd.
