Softball Recap: Bixby Find Success

Bixby posted their closest victory since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Oologah Mustangs, sneaking past 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Lexi Goodsell looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alli Hancock, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Brynlee Hopkins, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Bixby's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Oologah, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Bixby will be playing in front of their home fans against Edmond North at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. As for Oologah, they will venture away from home to take on Coweta at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
