Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Oconee). They put the hurt on the Cedar Shoals Jaguars with a sharp 17-1 win on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Titans with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for North Oconee and bumps their season record up to 9-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Cedar Shoals, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Oconee will square off against Pope at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedar Shoals, they will take on Central Gwinnett at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Black Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.64 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
