Softball Recap: North Murray Takes a Loss

North Murray fell victim to Union County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Mountaineers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Chanley Langham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

North Murray's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Union County, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat North Murray by a score of 14-12 later that day.
