Football Game Preview: Wheaton Knights vs. Kennedy Cavaliers + How To Watch

The Wheaton Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Kennedy Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wheaton will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Wheaton's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Northwood 38-0. Considering the Knights have won four games by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 56 points the game before, Kennedy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell just short of Magruder by a score of 15-12. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Colonels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Wheaton, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything went Wheaton's way against Kennedy when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Wheaton made off with a 34-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
