Asheville School (Independent) was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Covenant Day on Friday. The Blues really took it to the Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-0 win. The Blues haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jonas Howard had an outrageously good game as he threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 52 yards. Those 260 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gianluca Frangipane, who rushed for 65 yards and one TD.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Asheville School (Independent) proved: they limited Covenant Day to a paltry 0.9 yards per carry.
